Job Description:

We are looking for an mechanical design engineer to join our innovative team for development and delivery of critical parts. This role will involve design work starting at the conceptual level, mature into full 3D modeling, check with FEA analysis, and continue into manufacturing. Hands-on experience and a “get it done" attitude are very important for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Design of mechanical parts, fixtures, brackets, and other moving mechanical parts

  • Apply understanding of loads paths, and design robust structural configurations for parts​

  • Apply design for manufacturing concepts to create designs that are cost effective and easy to fabricate. ​​

  • Work closely with other engineers on the design

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree or PDF in an engineering or relevant field​​

​

  • Experience with the mechanical design

​​

  • An understanding of load paths and laminate design fundamentals​​

​

  • Experience with finite element tools

​​​

  • Experience in the validation and verification of complex, high-reliability systems

​​​

  • Self-starter with the ability work both autonomously and as part of a team, hands-on attitude

​

  • Good writing and speaking skills in English

​

  • Available to travel, if/as required
